Product training is an ongoing focus for our sales experts at Dawcul. It allows us to inform customers of the latest advances in technology and the benefits they can bring. Working closely with our partners, we engage with them whenever we can, taking every opportunity to meet with them, visit their premises and manufacturing facilities, and to gain a thorough understanding of their latest products.

We’re also delighted to announce a new partnership with Alfa Laval, representing the company in the important territory of Lithuania, to bring their heat exchange technology to this region. And we received some good news from partner Scully, who have awarded Dawcul the International Partner Award in recognition of our support and dedication to Scully for the last 20 years.

Flowvision technology reduces NOx emissions

Dawcul completed a tour of customers in Europe to discuss the latest news in flue gas treatment and DeNOx technology with partner Flowvision. The trip was hosted by our sales experts Krzysztof Strozynski in Poland, Norbert Ferenci in Hungary and Tomáš Skiba in the Czech Republic. They visited customer sites to learn more about how Flowvision’s products help reduce NOx emissions, an important topic as emission levels in Europe are required to meet ever stricter targets, and also to hear first hand about the challenges facing customers today.

Thanks to Alessandro Pace for accompanying us on this important series of visits. It was an extremely busy few days, taking in many customers, cities and countries, but extremely useful to hear about Flowvisions’ solutions for the future control of emissions and how they could help customers reach their greener targets as they transition to cleaner processes.

Product updates from Apollo Fire Detectors

Earlier this week, Dawcul had the privilege of visiting our esteemed partner, Apollo Fire Detectors, in Havant on the South Coast of England with our very good customer, Zarja Elektronika from Slovenia. This was not only an opportunity to review the long term partnership, but also address some of the interesting product development opportunities that Zarja can offer Apollo via this tri-lateral cross-benefit engagement.

Our partnership with Apollo Fire Detectors has demonstrated remarkable strength, marked by numerous successful projects together. As a global leader in fire detection products tailored for commercial and industrial use, Apollo Fire Detectors holds a prominent position to improve detection, reduce false alarms and improve reliability. We are proud to be partners with Apollo Fire Detectors with our exclusive distribution agreement, representing their products in territories including Croatia and Slovenia.

Metrix European Distributors Conference

Later in the month, many of Dawcul’s European sales representatives gathered to attend the Metrix European Distributors Conference in the Lombardy region in Italy.

Over the course of 2 days, our team received official training from Mr. Rett Jesse, Vice President for Sales and Marketing Metrix Products LLC. This invaluable experience has equipped our team with the tools and insights necessary to advance sales initiatives on behalf of Metrix within our European customer base.

Successful collaboration with partner Van Tongeren

In March, the Dawcul team oversaw the installation of Fluidized Catalytic Cracking cyclones (Regenerator) for the NIS Refinery Pancevo in Serbia, on behalf of our partner, Van Tongeren Ltd.

One of Dawcul’s key strengths is in logistics. It isn’t always easy getting large items of plant and equipment moved from its place of manufacture to the customer’s site, but we have the wherewithal, the know-how and experience to make it happen.

The transportation and installation was completed successfully, on time and on budget. Timings are extremely important on projects like these where there is just a short window in which to deliver and install one element of what is a much bigger installation.

The images here show the size of the operation and the planning needed to arrange the most efficient and timely transportation. A huge thanks to the Dawcul team, and our partner Van Tongeren, who collaborated across departments to make this happen.

Welcome new partnership with Alfa Laval

Dawcul is delighted to have agreed a new partnership with Alfa Laval in Lithuania, providing refineries with industry leading heat exchange products that provide superior reliability and performance alongside greater efficiency for improved sustainability. Alfa Laval’s range of heat exchangers provides leading technology for the efficient recovery and reuse of heat from compact, highly reliable and high performing units.

Heat exchangers play a key role in the transition to a more sustainable world. Replacing traditional shell and tube heat exchangers with welded plate heat exchangers creates enormous opportunities to recover and reuse heat, thereby substantially reducing CO2 emissions. This partnership is a very positive step in our initiatives to enable customers to transition to greener energy production.

The Green Impact Platinum award goes to Vikoma International

Our partner Vikoma International was delighted to accept Green Impact’s 2023 Platinum award recognising efforts to make a positive difference to their way of working and impact on the environment and sustainability. The scheme was delivered by SOS (Students Organising Sustainability).

Vikoma was also given a special award for environmental improvement, recognising the improvements and energy reductions resulting from upgrading equipment and processes in the factory.

Vikoma has also involved more of its team in Green Impact actions which has led to more actions being completed and improvements being seen than in previous years when Gold Awards have been received.

Congratulations to Vikoma on this achievement.

Dawcul proud recipient of the Scully International Partner Award

In September 2023, we welcomed Philippe De Baerdemacker from Scully Signal Company for a visit to review our partnership and to learn about the latest developments at Scully. In April 2024, we were delighted to receive recognition of our partnership of 20 years in the form of an International Partner Award.

We look forward to continuing to work closely with Scully, building on the largest and most successful project completed with them in Q4 of 2023.
