They offer a complete range of cyclones from 50mm diameter to more than 4 metres at temperatures from -100°C to over 1000°C and pressures from full vacuum to 1000 psi. The Power Of Cyclone Technology In Industry

The cyclone is a device without moving parts which separates dust particles from a gas stream by utilising the centrifugal forces imparted to the mixture passing through. The Van Tongeren cyclone is the highest efficiency cyclone ever designed and built. Like all good devices, it is extremely simple in operation.

Van Tongeren is able to offer a full consultancy service on existing cyclone installations. They are able to carry out a plant survey including, if necessary, sampling of gas streams and evaluate the actual efficiency of the plant compared to the theoretical efficiency and ascertain the reason for any deficiencies in operating performance.

Cyclones For Fluid Bed Catalytic Cracking (FCC)

Cyclones are used in the reactor and regenerator vessels as an integral part of the process to retain the catalyst within the system. High catalyst recovery is essential and efficiencies of 99.9999% are usual. Van Tongeren have a range of solutions for clean up for environmental reasons or as a pre-cleaner for a turbo-expander using tertiary cyclones.
