James Bovill CEO

Following a career in professional sport and a BA (Hons) in Business, James began his business career working in regional sales at Xerox UK before moving onto IMG in Singapore. James remained in Asia where he opened more regional offices for Dawcul and became CEO in 2004. Since then he has guided the company through years of transformation and sustained growth, establishing a solid reputation in the oil, gas, and more recently, greener energy sectors.

Much of Dawcul’s success is based on relationships, and James is hands-on, at the centre of client and partner relations, enabling clients to make the best, most informed purchasing decisions with confidence.

Taking over from his father and founder of Dawcul, Mike Bovill, James has continued to build a business through development of an international infrastructure that enables the company to provide senior technical and logistical expertise at a local level across Europe. It’s this level of experience, support and practical know-how that attracts clients, along with ever growing partnership agreements with leading industry suppliers to drive innovation and competitiveness.

James is a forward-thinking leader and is currently focused on helping clients meet the challenges of transitioning to greener energy as Europe moves towards a climate neutral society. This involves forging partnerships with new suppliers, and educating clients on the benefits of new, greener technology as it enters the market.

A former professional county cricketer for Hampshire and Buckinghamshire, James is also a school Governor at Charterhouse School in Godalming, chairing various sub committees as well as a member of the Institute of Directors and the MCC.

Marko Lipert International Sales & Estimations Manager

Marko graduated at University of Zagreb, Faculty of Economics and business and achieved a Masters degree in Economic Science.

With more than 14 years of work experience he was responsible for coordination of cross-sectorial activities in realization of various projects. He was also participating in numerous tendering procedures done in compliance with the rules of international finance institutions and local law on public procurement.

He is also passionate about sports and nature.

David Peters Contracts and Finance Support Manager

David joined Dawcul in January 2024 and has 10 years of experience working in Finance and Supporting Operations in the fluid handling industry, ensuring correct VAT treatment and correct import/export documents on contracts.

David was also responsible for financial reporting both internally, responsible for management accounting, and externally, including HMRC and VAT reporting.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his daughters as well as reading, doing puzzles and following sports.

Sanja Bjelajac Contracts and Shipping Specialist

Sanja graduated at Zagreb University in Economics and achieved a Masters degree in Economic Science.

She joined Dawcul Croatia in February 2024 and has more than 19 years’ export, import & logistics experience working with various European and Far East industries including oil and gas and chemicals. With 7 years’ experience within the oil and gas industry, Sanja’s focus has been in ensuring smooth and timely delivery of fuel markers and dyes, driveline additives, engine oil additives, fuel additives and industrial additives for brands and governments.

Sanja’s experience also includes submitting offers for project design, engineering and consultancy in the oil and gas sector, for power plants and district heating solutions and participating in numerous tendering procedures in compliance with the rules and local law on public procurement.

In her spare time she enjoys hiking, painting, swimming and spending time at home and in nature with her family.

Michelle King Finance Manager

Michelle joined Dawcul in 2019, having moved from the organic foods import/export industry. She has held roles covering Finance Management and Analysis over a period of 18 years, within a diverse range of industries; cyber security, banking, intercultural training, professional golf and the automotive industry.

Michelle originally studied Law at Kingston University but made a switch to Mathematics after her first year and has never looked back since.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, playing the guitar, reading and also spending time with family, friends, her two children and two dogs.

Rebecca Belson Shipping & Contracts Manager

Rebecca joined Dawcul in August 2022 as Contracts and Shipping Support Manager working alongside Diana. She has 19 years’ Logistics experience working in various demanding industries including Oil & Gas, Chemicals & high end removals. Most recently Rebecca has spent 12 years working in the Oil and Gas industry ensuring smooth and timely delivery of Oilwell Logging tools, Radioactive Materials and Dangerous Goods. Supporting B2C sales, Rentals and facilitating Repair shipments through IPR.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and horse riding.

Tracy Davies Office administrator

Tracy joined Dawcul in March 2022 having moved from the Pharmaceutical industry where she worked as a contractor at Pfizer. She has many years PA experience working for a variety of companies including Metsa Board, Centrica and Mercer.

In her spare time she enjoys cycling and spending time with her son, family and friends.

Alex Bovill Marketing Executive

Alex joined Dawcul in May 2024 following the completion of his A levels in Business, History and PE at Cranleigh School in Surrey. Drawing from his educational experiences, he is driven to push Dawcul’s branding whilst promoting its commitment to sustainable energy practices to a broader audience. Additionally, Alex oversees Dawcul’s social media activity, ensuring all stakeholders are informed about the company’s latest developments including partner and customer visits across Eastern Europe.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing a wide variety of sports such as Golf and Cricket, socializing with friends, and passionately follows Arsenal FC.

Asen Petrov Area Manager

In 2016 Asen Petrov was appointed as Area Manager for Bulgaria. Graduating from Chemical Technology University in 1990, he has 20 years professional experience in the Downstream Oil & Gas industry and over 12 years as a sales representative for engineering companies including suppliers of industrial equipment and materials for vary industries.

He is responsible for business development projects in Bulgaria and is a knowledgeable, commercially oriented and proactive Area Manager. Highly motivated and customer oriented with a good commercial awareness, believing maximum results come from sound customer communications, good follow-up and customer retention.

Завършил Химикотехнологичния университет през 1990 г., той има 20-годишен професионален опит в областта на нефтопреработвателната и газовата промишленост и над 12 години като търговски представител на инженерингови компании, включително доставчици на промишлено оборудване и материали за различни индустрии. Той отговаря за развитието на бизнес проектите в България и е компетентен, търговско ориентиран и проактивен регионален мениджър. Високо мотивиран и ориентиран към клиентите, с добра търговска осведоменост, като вярва, че максималните резултати идват от добрата комуникация с клиентите, доброто проследяване и запазването на клиентите.

Ivica Stipic Area Manager

Ivica graduated with a Masters in Economics at Zagreb University and has 34 years experience in the company. For the first 6-7 years he was responsible for the markets of Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.

He is an experienced sales and business development manager who was deeply involved in several big turn-key projects including: Revamp and Upgrade of FCC Plant, Building of HDS, Isomerisation, Gas Treatment and Carbon Black Plants; Truck, Rail, Ship Loading Terminals, Tank Farms; Thermal Oxidiser etc.

Ivica has good relationships with engineering companies and contractors in the region, organising part of equipment production (metal frames, vessels pipes) and more competitive locally made Dawcul principal’s equipment.

Petra Sancic Sales Executive

Petra graduated at Zagreb University in Political Sciences and achieved a B.Sc. degree in Journalism. She has 12 years of experience within the company.
Petra’s role is to support Dawcul’s Serbian office, handling most of the enquiries and providing customer support for the Serbian market. This includes preparing the offers for equipment supplied by all Dawcul principals.

Petra is particularly trained for responding to enquiries for MTL (Measurement Technology Ltd.) Safety Barriers, Clark Reliance Level Gauges & Sight Indicators, Fives Pillard & Fives ITAS Burners/Combustion Solutions, Metrix Vibration Monitoring equipment, Celeros Flow Technology, Clyde Union Pumps, Albany Pumps and Celeros Flow Technology Plenty Filters.

Sandra Kralj Sales Executive

Sandra graduated at Zagreb University in Economics and achieved a Masters degree in Economic Science. She is experienced in Foreign Trade Business and has 19 years experience within the Company. Sandra specialises in processing (preparing and monitoring) of major contracts that are looked after by the Zagreb Office. This especially includes the work on contracts for Supply of Vapour Recovery Units and Combustion Units (Aereon Europe/Jordan Technologies) and Metering Equipment for Road, Rail and Ship Terminals (VAE Controls).

Sandra is also trained for handling enquiries for Centrax Limited Allison Gas Turbines Overhauls/Spare Parts/Generator Sets; Emco Wheaton Loading Arms; Scully Signal Grounding and Overfill prevention equipment; Sensia-Jiskoot Sampling and Blending Systems; DeltaValve valves and Macoga Expansion Joints enquiries.

Irena Majdak Selj Sales Executive

Irena graduated at Zagreb University in Economics and achieved a Masters degree in Economic Science. She has 30 years’ experience within the company and is very experienced in handling customer enquiries and monitoring the realisation of the contracts.

Irena is particularly trained for SPX Flow Technology enquiries – Plenty/Lightnin Mixers, TAC/Tank Aluminium Covers- Internal Floating Roofs and Aluminium Domes; CCC Compressors Controls Corporation – turbo machinery control solutions, Resco Inc. Refractory Products, Apollo Fire Detectors, Kidde Fire Protection fire extinguishing systems, Kentec Control Panels and TapcoEnpro Valves.

Tomas Skiba Area Manager

Tomas Skiba graduated in Engineering Physics at the Czech Technical University (ČVUT) in Prague. He started his career as a Project and Purchase Specialist working for a large investment project in power generation R&D. For the past 10 years he has been working as a Sales Manager in Engineering and Production.

Most of his past customers were from the power and chemical industry (power plants, engineering companies, refineries etc.).

Tomas is based in Prague and his responsibilities include customers around Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Tomáš Skiba vystudoval FJFI ČVUT v Praze. Svoji kariéru zahájil jako projektový specialista ve velkém investičním projektu v oblasti energetického výzkumu a vývoje, kde měl na starosti i nákup. Posledních 10 let pracuje jako obchodní manažer v oblasti inženýringu a výroby. Většina jeho dřívějších zákazníků byla z oblasti energetiky a chemického průmyslu (elektrárny, strojírenské podniky, rafinérie atd.). Tomáš sídlí v Praze a do jeho kompetence spadají zákazníci z celého Česka a Slovenska.

Norbert Ferenci Area Manager

Norbert graduated from the College of Dunaújvàros, Hungary in 2006 qualifying with Technical management as well as the University of Debrecen, Hungary in 2013 qualifying with BSc in Chemical Engineer.

He worked for 10 years in the Industrial gas sector as an Application engineer where he was responsible for Hot temperature processes in the Hungarian market then spent 3 years in the refractory material business sector as Sales manager where he was responsible for customers in Hungary and the Balkans.

Norbert joined Dawcul in June 2022, he has more than 13 years sales experience and always manages customers’ requirements and projects to the best of his knowledge.

In his spare time, he likes cooking and enjoys playing and watching football with his son.

Norbert 2022 Júniusban  csatlakozott a Dawculhoz. 2006-ban végzett a Dunaújvárosi Főiskola műszaki menedzser szakán, majd 2013-ban a Debreceni Egyetem BSc vegyészmérnök szakát végezte el. 10 évig dolgozott az ipari gázszektorban alkalmazástechnikai mérnökként, ahol a magyar piac “magas hőmérsékletű folyamatokért” volt felelős, majd 3 évet töltött a tűzálló anyag üzletágban üzletkötőként, ahol felelős volt a magyarországi és balkáni régióban levő ügyfelekért. Több mint 13 éves üzletkötői tapasztalattal rendelkezik, és mindig a legjobb tudása szerint kezeli a vevők igényeit és a projekteket. Szabadidejében szeret főzni, valamint a fiával focizni és focimeccset nézni.

Arijus Skarbalius Area Manager - Baltic States

Arijus has a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology. He joined Dawcul in January 2007 and works with clients in the Baltic Region.

Krzysztof Strozynski Area Sales Manager

Krzysztof graduated from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow with a Master of Science in Drilling and Geoengineering. He has over 10 years of experience in Sales and Business development, including 8 years in the Oil & Gas industry.

Krzysztof spent several months in various locations around the world (Scotland, United States, Malaysia, and Australia) working for a multinational corporation. In recent years he was responsible for the drilling equipment sale on the territory of Poland and Ukraine.

Tomasz Milewski Regional Sales Director

Tomasz graduated with a Masters in Economics from Gdansk University. He is an experienced Sales and Business Development Manager with expertise in major petrochemical projects within the Oil & Gas industry in EMEA and North America. He has lived in Kuwait, Houston and Abu Dhabi working for multinational organisations developing market share in the downstream and petrochemical market segments.

He continues his career back in Poland, enjoying very good relationships with major clients in the Polish petrochemical and refining markets.

Marius Serban Area Manager

Marius Serban graduated from the University of Bucharest, Romania in 2004 qualifying with a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. With extensive experience of 15 years in Sales and Business Development for Engineering Products and Services, specialising in Oil and Gas and Petrochemical Industries. Marius will provide Dawcul’ s clients in Romania with a friendly and approachable service as we seek the best means to support our valuable client base, with our extensive product and portfolio range for the region.

Marius has many years’ experience working with our partners Emco Wheaton GmbH and also SPX (Johnson Pumps).

Bojan Pavlovic Area Manager

Bojan has been managing the Dawcul Representative Office in Belgrade, Serbia since 2011. He graduated in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Belgrade.

Directly after University, he joined his first sales team and started to develop his career in the downstream Oil & Gas market, working with major oil and gas Companies in the Southeast Europe region.

Bojan is also experienced in Oil & Gas retail network sales as he has spent several years developing one of the biggest gas station networks in Serbia.

Beside this, Bojan has exceptional experience and extensive knowledge in the field of oil refineries and petrochemical processing. He gained his knowledge in working with leading companies, on both sides, on the part of equipment manufacturers, as well as from end users and their needs and requirements.

Bojan rukovodi predstavništvom Dawcul u Beogradu od 2011. godine. Diplomirao je kao naftni inženjer na RGF Univerziteta u Beogradu.

Odmah nakon univerziteta, pridružio se svom prvom prodajnom timu i počeo da razvija svoju karijeru na tržištu nafte i gasa, radeći sa velikim naftnim i gasnim kompanijama u regionu jugoistočne Evrope.

Bojan takođe ima radnog iskustva u veliko prodaji, kao i u delu maloprodajne mreže nafte i gasa, jer je nekoliko godina razvijao jednu od najvećih mreža benzinskih pumpi u Srbiji.

Pored toga, Bojan ima izuzetno iskustvo i široko znanje u oblasti prerade u rafinerijama nafte i petrohemijskog kompleksa. Svoje znanje sticao je u radu sa vodećim kompanijama, obostrano, kako od strane proizvođača opreme i komponenti, tako i od krajnjih korisnika i njihovih potreba i zahteva.
