Founded in 1884 as the Reliance Gauge & Column Company, Clark-Reliance® has a long and rich history in innovation. It all began with what would be the company’s first breakthrough product, a low water alarm for boiler operators. Using floats attached to a steam whistle, this revolutionary device would sound an alarm when water conditions became unsafe. Although the first, this is just one of the many pioneering products the forward-thinking engineers at Clark-Reliance have developed throughout the years.

Today Clark-Reliance is dedicated to supplying the largest and broadest product line in the instrumentation industry for all types of measurement and control.

Key acquisitions over the last few decades have solidified Clark-Reliance as a leader in the separation and filtration industry. Clark-Reliance now includes a number of distinguished product lines: Jerguson®, Jacoby-Tarbox®, Magne-Sonics®, Anderson® Separator and National Filtration Systems®, Oil Filtration Systems®, and Enervac(TM).

In 2004, years of growth and numerous acquisitions led to a corporate-wide reorganisation. Today, each of the company’s product lines falls under one of three new operating groups: Clark-Reliance Instrument and Controls Group, Clark-Reliance Filtration Equipment Group and Clark-Reliance Filter Elements Group.

Training at Clark-Reliance Hungary October 2023

Tomáš Skiba, Dawcul’s Area Manager for Czech Republic, along with Norbert Ferenci, Dawcul Hungary’s Area Manager, recently had the opportunity to attend the Clark-Reliance® European Representative Training in Bad Gögging, Germany, on the 23rd – 26th of October.

During the event, the two Dawcul representatives learned more about products such as the Reliance boiler trim, Jerguson glass & magnetic gages, as well as Jacoby Tarbox products like sight windows and sight flow indicators, to name a few.
