One of the world’s leading manufacturers of fire detection products for commercial and industrial applications, Apollo produce the XP95 range of analogue fire detectors and the Orbis range of optical smoke and multi sensor detectors, seven grades of heat detector and a range of bases. The SOTERIA® collection offers the next generation in fire recognition technology to improve detection, reduce false alarms and improve reliability. Complementing SOTERIA® is Apollo’s enhanced protocol, CoreProtocol®
Innovation drives the company’s product development programme, with continuous exploration of new technologies helping to deliver leading-edge fire detection products.
Products
XP95
The XP95 range of analogue addressable fire detectors is advanced in design, improved in performance and has unique features that benefit the installer and the end user.
The range features smoke detectors (optical and ionisation), standard and high temperature heat detectors and a multisensor.
Beam detectors, flame detectors, manual call points, audio visual signalling devices, interface units and isolators complete the range. XP95 has a ‘central intelligence’ system where all the decisions are made by the control panel.
Bases
The XP95 range features a number of different bases including an Intelligent Mounting Base, Isolating Base and Intelligent Low Power Relay Base.
Beam & Flame Detectors
A range of beam detectors are available to protect large, open spaces such as warehouses and atria. Flame detectors that are designed for use in large areas, that require a detector to give a fast response in dusty or highly flammable environments are available.
Manual Call Points
The Intelligent Manual Call Point has been designed to operate on a loop of intelligent fire detection devices. It is compliant with EN 54-11 and is EN 54-17 Certified. The device is addressed at the commissioning stage by means of an internal DIL switch and can be easily reset from the front using the supplied reset key.
Sounders & Beacons
There is a wide choice of devices for audible and visual alarm signaling and includes VADs, which are EN 54-23 compliant. The devices are available as stand-alone or integrated into bases.
Interfaces
There is a comprehensive range of interfaces for systems which enable fire protection solutions to be engineered simply and effectively without the need for custom designed equipment. There are a variety of interfaces available to suit a number of individual applications.
Intrinsically Safe XP95
Intrinsically Safe detectors feature all the benefits of the standard range, but are developed specifically for use in hazardous areas.
Approvals
The XP95 range of detectors and system components are approved by a large number of third party certification bodies around the world, including LPCB, VdS, ABS, AFNOR, UL and VNIIPO.
Orbis
Orbis is a range of conventional detectors developed with sophisticated technology previously only found in intelligent detectors. Orbis is a range designed to make installation, commissioning and maintenance fast and simple with modern styling and incorporates a mounting base which saves installation time.
Orbis comprises of optical smoke and multisensor detectors, seven grades of heat detector and a range of bases. Each type of detector is available in two versions:
- Standard
- Flashing LED
Bases
There are a range of TimeSaver bases available which include grouped terminals to make wiring easy, two fixing centres and an LED alignment mark to make installation fast and simple.
Orbis Marine And Intrinsically Safe
Orbis Marine conventional fire detectors offer the same wealth of features to save time, enhance reliability and reduce false alarms within the marine environment. Intrinsically Safe versions of Orbis detectors are also available for use in hazardous environments.
Approvals
Orbis, Orbis Marine and Orbis Intrinsically Safe ranges of fire detectors and system components are approved by a large number of third party certification bodies around the world including LPCB, VdS, Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Veritas, ABS, China Classification Society as well as being declared compliant with the essential requirements of the EMC Directive 89/266/EEC and the Construction Products Directive 89/106/EEC.
The devices have also been tested and approved to EN 54-7 and EN 54-5 standards.
The SOTERIA® collection
The SOTERIA® collection offers the next generation in fire recognition technology and has been developed to improve detection, reduce false alarms and deliver improved reliability.
Complementing SOTERIA® is Apollo’s enhanced protocol, CoreProtocol®, the next generation in fire loop communication giving greater control, higher levels of efficiency and significantly more loop power.
