Dawcul Bulletin November 2023

November has been a busy month at Dawcul with activities including technical training for our European sales advisors, a new addition to the team, new contract wins and a flying visit to our territory in Malaysia by James Bovill.

James was extremely privileged to have been invited by Acasia Sdn Bhd Ltd to play golf at The Mines Resort, Kuala Lumpur with directors Dato’ Shamsul Azman Mahadi and Mr. Akmal Nizam Mustapa, plus ex-MD/CEO of Malaysian Refinery Company Sdn Bhd, Mr. Khairul Anuar Shukri.

This was an opportunity to discuss Dawcul and Acasia’s joint strategy for introduction of decarbonisation technologies to Petronas via Dawcul’s extensive partner network.

New project in Poland

We are delighted with the recent success of Dawcul’s team in Poland to secure a new order of Bellow Seal Globe control valves.  We will ensure that, in the experienced hands of Krzysztof Strozynski and Tomasz Milewski, all will go smoothly for our highly valued customer.

Technical training with partner Clark-Reliance^®

Tomáš Skiba, Dawcul’s Area Manager for Czech Republic, along with Norbert Ferenci, Dawcul Hungary’s Area Manager, recently had the opportunity to attend the Clark-Reliance^® European Representative Training in Bad Gögging, Germany, on the 23rd – 26th of October.

During the event, the two Dawcul representatives learned more about products such as the Reliance boiler trim, Jerguson glass & magnetic gages, as well as Jacoby Tarbox products like sight windows and sight flow indicators, to name a few. This conference also covered the importance of understanding the significance of product reliability in the production process.

It was the perfect opportunity to catch up with our partners at Clark-Reliance and we are grateful for the invitation. Thank you to Amir Hedayatnia (Regional Sales Manager of Clark-Reliance) and his team for hosting such an insightful event!

Technical training with partner Baker Hughes

Krzysztof Strozynski, our Area Sales Manager in Poland, recently had the privilege of visiting Lufkin’s (Baker Hughes) cutting-edge facility in Fougerolles, France — where a comprehensive training session was conducted by our valued supplier in gear technology.

The experience included a fascinating shop tour, deep dives into gear basics, insights into gearbox testing and vibration analysis, as well as valuable knowledge on short and long-term repairs. The session extended to strategic horizons, encompassing a meticulous review of individual sales strategies and the challenges faced in the dynamic landscape.

Carbon Neutral Seminar Paris

Dawcul Hungary’s Area Manager, Norbert Ferenci, recently had the opportunity to attend the Axens Low Carbon Solutions Seminar in Paris, France on behalf of Dawcul!

The event was held from the 28th of November to the 30th of November 2023 at the New Cap Event Center in Paris. The seminar was an insightful experience, covering Axens’ extensive range of technical innovations and know-how about how to become carbon neutral. Axens’ speakers also provided valuable knowledge such as how to become more energy efficient in production, they shared their expertise in the field of renewables and how to work towards achieving ambitious carbon neutral goals.
