It’s been a busy month for our representative in Hungary Norbert Ferenci as he welcomed not one but two of our valued partners for visits to key customers in the region. And CEO James Bovill ventured to Malaysia for the exciting launch of a new manufacturing facility for Grayloc to coincide with their 70th Anniversary.
We’re also pleased to announce the arrival of the first of new web pages dedicated to each of our regions in Eastern Europe.

During these meetings, they showcased the extensive Copes-Vulcan product portfolio, highlighting our cutting-edge technical solutions for steam applications, including:
✅ Turbine bypass valves
✅ Desuperheaters
✅ Steam control valves
✅ Steam conditioning valves
We also emphasized our commitment to delivering exceptional aftersales service and technical support, ensuring long-term partnerships and optimal system performance.

Grayloc launch new facility in Kuala Lumpur
CEO James Bovill was extremely grateful to be invited to participate in Grayloc Malaysia’s (part of Oceaneering Group) official opening of their new facility located in the Petaling Jaya area of Kuala Lumpur, coinciding with the Company’s 70th anniversary.
This provided a great opportunity to meet with Grayloc Products, L.L.C. CEO Chris Downie and his team to review ongoing business in the European and Asian markets and plans for 2025. The new state of art facility provides for manufacturing, servicing and warehousing of critical service piping and pressure vessel systems equipment to speed up Grayloc’s route to market for the ever growing Asia Pacific region.
Hungary office hosts Baker Hughes (Lufkin/Allen Gears)
Our Area Manager for Hungary, Norbert Ferenci, had the pleasure of hosting Matthew Randles, Senior Aftermarket Key Account Manager, and Emilien Lacombe, Field Service Engineer, from Baker Hughes (Lufkin/Allen Gears) in Hungary on November 27th and 28th. During their visit, we had the opportunity to meet with some of our long-term customers who rely on Lufkin gearboxes.
A key takeaway from our discussions was the vital importance of regular gearbox maintenance and ensuring the right safety stock levels. As a trusted OEM, Lufkin Gears is committed to providing top-tier aftermarket support and services to maximize equipment reliability, while also offering customers the option for new gearboxes when needed.
Thank you, Matt and Emilien, for your valuable insights. We are already looking forward to continuing our collaboration and visiting more of our customers in Q1 2025!
