Dawcul takes a proactive approach to seek out the latest advances in green technology in the energy sector. We are partnering with a number of firms, whose innovation in this sector is in developing cleaner processes, and delivering economic benefits too.
Elessent Clean Technologies is a global leader in process technologies to drive sustainability and carbon neutrality in the metals, fertilizer, chemicals and oil refining industries. The company provides extensive global expertise across a portfolio of offerings in key applications.
Refineries are choosing BELCO® wet scrubbing technology for SO2, NO2 & Particulate Reduction to control emissions from critical processes that must ALWAYS be in operation. It is the global standard for controlling refinery flue gas emissions from Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Units (FCCU’s), fluid cokers, fired heaters, and boilers.
These innovative technologies help to provide cleaner air, enhance health and safety, improve operational efficiency, and deliver a competitive advantage.
Dawcul forged a new partnership with and Sulzer Process Plant, a global leader in fluid engineering and chemical processing applications, at the end of 2023.
In addition to their liquid-liquid extraction and distillation and absorption technologies, this partnership also brings fresh opportunities to benefit from leading edge technology aimed at reducing environmental impact and finding new uses for industrial waste.
For example, Sulzer’s technology has been developed for the extraction of polyphenolic compounds from bio-based waste, reducing waste as well as adding value to the process. Applications include olive oil and wine production industries, creating a substance for further use in green energy, plastics or resin production.
According a recent report by the European Environment Agency, not all member states are currently reaching their national commitment reduction targets, and in particular, Lithuania and Romania are required to reduce their NOx emissions by 32% and 7% respectively.
Dawcul partners with Axens’ subsidiary, Flowvision, which supplies pollution abatement systems across Europe to address these challenges.
Flowvision’s DeNOx systems utilise various techniques such as selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) to effectively reduce NOx emissions, thereby helping industries meet stringent environmental regulations.
